Product Lifecycle Date Tracking
Fenergo now allows for the capture of three system-calculated, read-only date fields in the Product domain — recording when each product was onboarded, last updated, and offboarded. These dates are tracked individually per product, ensuring accuracy across all lifecycle events. Each field would need to be added to a product policy to be visible and will need a specific datakey. See user guide for more information on configuration steps.
The three new fields are:
- Product Onboarded Date — recorded the first time a product reaches an onboarded status in a client onboarding or lifecycle event management (LEM) journey. This date is not overwritten by subsequent lifecycle events.
- Product Update Date — recorded when a change is made to product data and then the change gets verified.
- Product Offboarded Date — recorded when a product's status changes to offboarded.
All three fields should be made read-only and not edited by users. They can be made visible in the EPP product tab via secondary identifiers, and within Product tasks in journeys. In the audit table the dates can be tracked via the Lifecycle Status which will show the status value and the date it was updated.
